Hamilton Wesleyan family,
As you know, the Board met after our service on Sunday to discuss how the governor’s executive order will impact our services. We have reviewed the order itself and recommendations from our District leadership. We also know that the governor has revised certain aspects of his order. With that all in mind, here is what we are going to do moving forward.
- We will continue to have our live service. There is an exemption in the order for religious meetings.
- We will provide masks (as we have previously), but you are not required to wear one. Wearing a mask while in the service is at your discretion.
- We do ask that everyone be sensitive to maintaining the social distancing guidelines; try to keep a 6’ distance. To do this, you are asked to consider having your pre- and post- service conversations in the sanctuary, entry or even outside in the shade. Anyone can see that maintaining social distance is not easily done in our entry, so out of respect for those guidelines and all who are nervous about that … use the sanctuary, entry and outside for conversations … and stay aware of our distancing.
Thanks,
Pastor Dave Leitzel
