"You’re Not the Boss of Me"

Join us Sunday, July 25th as we start our new sermon series "You’re Not the Boss of Me" How to say NO to the emotions that compete for control. 

Jesus told the disciples that its what comes from within us that defiles us. That’s what makes a mess of our lives. And if you look at the things he listed, so many of them are emotions and desires that war against God’s will and purpose in our life. This series is going to look at how to effectively battle several key emotions that war against God’s design for us.

“It is what comes from inside that defiles you. For from within, out of a person's heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you." (Mark 7:20-23) 

Topics will include: Guilt (our past failures and sins come into play here), Envy, Anger, Fear, and Undercover Boss.
