WELL OF LIFE TESTIMONY REPORT

Community: Lupuna II Zona Community - This community is 2 hours from the city of Iquitos, down the Amazon River by boat. After that, one must walk 40 minutes inside the jungle to reach this community.

Province: Maynas

State: Loreto Pastor: Pastor Robert Bardales

Church: The Truth Will Make You Free Church

About the Church: Two years ago, the community and the church moved 1.5 km (nearly a mile) away from the shore, because of the continuous falling of the ravine from the banks of the community. Also, their church building was old and 80% of it was in bad condition. Many from this community went to other areas and communities around there. Since this time, the brothers and sisters were praying and planning how to have a new church where they could all be together and serve the Lord.

As an answer to prayer, the Well of Life team visited Lupuna II Zona Community and met Pastor Robert Bardales. Thanks to the amazing sponsor, Hamilton Wesleyan Church, the Well of Life team was able to share with the villagers the exciting news that a new church and well would be built for their community!

Pastor Robert shared, “I am more than blessed for this project for our ministry. They are great tools to reach our community. We never thought that the Lord would use people from far away, our brothers and sisters in Christ to help us in this huge way to see the glory of God in our lives and community. First, we had to move our church location because it was too dangerous to live close to the shore. For everyone in the community, it was not easy to build a new house. After we moved to an area far away from the shore of the Amazon, we didn’t have water here for our daily needs. But praise the Lord, now we have a church where our community can come and know the Lord, and we have an abundance of clean and safe water for the entire community! This is absolutely amazing for us! Thank you, Lord! Thanks also to the sponsor Hamilton Wesleyan Church and also sister Joyce Meyer and the Hand of Hope Well of Life team, for giving us this great help and blessing!

Like never before, it is clear to me that we are one body in Christ, and that our Lord knows when and how to answer to build His church. My heart is full of joy and my faith is stronger than before! I can preach with more confidence knowing that the Lord supports our ministry and testimony. Thank you!”

As the Well of Life team was building the project, we did various community outreaches including kid’s movie nights, hygiene classes and sharing the Gospel.

So far in Lupuna II Community, 35 adults have received Jesus as their personal Savior and 40 people reconciled their life to the Lord!

Thank you once again to the Hamilton Wesleyan Church! We couldn’t do this amazing Kingdom work without you! Many blessings!
