Key verse: “Admonish one another.” (Colossians 3:16)

It’s been said that a rising tide lifts all ships. As we continue to consider the one another passages of the New Testament we see that the surest path to joy is to become part of that rising tide. As I bring joy, hope, and happiness to others I find that I too am lifted. This week’s focus is on the need and importance of admonishment (or correction). And I know that none of us like to be corrected. I know few of us like to give correction. But until the day none of us makes mistakes, correction is going to be part of the process. So let’s learn what God means when he tells us to admonish one another. Whatever he means, we know it is loving and redemptive. Let’s become part of a rising tide that lifts up everyone.
