Key verse: “Greet one another with a holy kiss” (Rom. 16:16).

The focus this week is on acceptance and respect. It provides us with a simple, easy starting point in the process of valuing others and introducing them to Christ. Max Lucado titles this chapter “The Fine Art of Saying Hello.” As a parent, how do you feel when someone takes special notice of your child or reaches out to help them in a difficult situation? Did it ever occur to you that God feels the same way (or far deeper) when we reach out to make His children feel welcome, accepted and valued? Have you ever had to coach your child to “Say hello” to someone? Well, I think God has had to do that with me many times. This sermon may well be another of those times. Greet one another!
